August 2019 - WCPF Inter-Club Print Competition

Great news from Dorchester the results of the 2019 WCPF Inter-Club Print Championship have been published and Truro Camera Club came a comendable 8th = with Camborne and Redruth Camera Club, scoring 170 points. The two clubs that will represent the WCPF in the PAGB Inter-Federation Print Championship will be Torbay who came first with 182 points and Bristol PS who came second with 181 points. May 2019 - CPA Annual Competition

What a successful evening for Truro Camera Club at Truro College on the evening of 14th May 2019. The CPA Annual Competition saw Truro come second in the digital section, first in the print section and first overall. Individual honours went to Angela Thompson and Lynn Pascoe who won the creative category and the mono digital category respectively. Thanks to everyone involved with providing the images, helping with the selection process and supporting the event at Truro College. A special thanks to Chris Bailey who was Competition Secretary when the entry was compiled. 9th November 2019 - CPA Nature and Wildlife Competition

Truro Camera Club was well represented at the annual CPA Nature and Wildlife Competition at Carnon Downs. Ten members entered the Nature section and fourteen members entered Wildlife images. This participation was greater than any other club. Top awards went to Malcolm Jenkin (Camborne & Redruth CC) and Adrian Davey (Launceston CC). There were individual successes for Truro CC: Nature Section - 2nd Bill Hall ‘Harvest Mouse on Dandelion’ Judge’s Selection - Nicholas Richards ‘Pittville Swan’ Wildlife Section - 2nd Bill Hall ‘Kingfisher Bursting Out’ 3rd John Yarrow ‘Cornish Octopus’ Judge’s Selection - Margaret Hocking ‘Lions’ Many thanks to everyone who entered and contributed to such a successful and enjoyable evening.
